Patrícia Chimiti is a senior architect and the founder of Chimiti Arquitetura, based in Florianópolis, Brazil. With a multidisciplinary background combining Architecture and Urbanism, Computer Science and Business Management, she stands out for her expertise in innovative construction systems such as light steel frame and modular architecture, and she specialises in interior design, neuroarchitecture and BIM.

Since founding the studio in 2019, Patrícia's purpose has been to deliver high-end projects whose DNA is the union of sustainability and innovation. Her work favours intelligent ways of thinking about and building space, always seeking a deep connection between form, people and their surroundings.

The result is architecture that promotes people's wellbeing and care for the planet, supported by the most advanced construction technologies.

The studio

An architecture studio in Florianópolis since 2019

Chimiti Arquitetura is based in central Florianópolis, Brazil, and works for clients in Santa Catarina and other states. Service is close and personal, from the first sketch to the finished building, and every project is closely managed by architect Patrícia Chimiti and our team.

We work in residential architecture and interior design, in mountain architecture, with houses, chalets, cabins and tiny houses, in commercial and corporate architecture and in master plans for rural condominiums and hospitality.

Our projects are in Florianópolis, Balneário Camboriú, the Santa Catarina highlands (Urubici, Urupema and Rancho Queimado) and other Brazilian states, such as Pará, where the studio has designed homes, restaurants, offices and buildings in Belém.

Technology in design and construction

Projects are developed using BIM, which brings the architecture and the information on every building element together in a single digital model. This makes it possible to coordinate disciplines, find clashes before construction starts and make decisions with more confidence.

On site, the studio specialises in industrialised systems such as light steel frame, modular construction and SIP panels, which mean less waste, cleaner sites and more predictable timelines.
