Hospitality — inns, cabins and retreats in the highlands
About
Inn and cabin design: architecture for hospitality
Inns, cabins and retreats designed as a complete experience, for guests and for investors.
We design inns, cabins and retreats for hospitality investors, from the master plan of the land to the architecture of each unit, balancing comfort, sustainability and financial return.
01
The guest experience starts with the design
In an inn or a group of cabins, what guests remember is the view from the bed, a hot bath after a cold day, the silence and the feeling of being alone in the landscape. All of this is decided at the design stage, long before the decoration.
02
Hospitality master planning: layout, privacy and views
Whether it is a rural inn, a group of cabins or a glamping site, when a development has several units the project starts with the master plan. It defines where each cabin sits, the distance between them, the paths, parking, shared areas and infrastructure, ensuring privacy and a view for everyone.
The master plan also sets out the phases: you can start with a few cabins and expand the inn as the business grows, without the new units looking like an afterthought.
03
Thermal comfort to welcome guests all year round
In the Santa Catarina highlands, winter is high season and temperatures easily drop below zero. Insulated walls and roofs, high-performance windows, solar orientation and heating such as fireplaces and underfloor heating are all defined at the design stage.
The result is cosy cabins with large openings to the landscape and no discomfort on the coldest days. See also our cabins, chalets and tiny houses.
04
Industrialised construction to open sooner
Built in light steel frame or as factory-made modules, construction is cleaner, faster and more predictable. With modular construction, fabrication typically takes 60 to 90 days while foundations, access and landscaping are prepared on site.
For hospitality investors, that means less time on site and more certainty when planning the opening.

How your inn project works
Every project is closely managed by our team, led by architect Patrícia Chimiti:
- An initial conversation about the land, the guest profile, the number of units and the budget.
- A master plan laying out cabins, paths and shared areas, with 3D images.
- Design of the cabins and support buildings, developed in BIM and coordinated with the engineering disciplines.
- Choosing the most suitable construction system for the buildings: light steel frame, modular or engineered timber.
FAQ
Inn and cabin design: frequently asked questions
Do you design complete inns?
Yes. We develop the master plan for the land, the architecture of the cabins and support buildings, and the interior design, with the same care from start to finish.
Is investing in hospitality cabins worthwhile?
It depends on the location, local demand and how the business is run. Architecture's role is to reduce risk: the master plan shows costs and phases before construction, and comfortable, well-placed cabins with a strong connection to the landscape are what guests look for and recommend.
How many cabins can my land take?
It depends on the area, terrain, access, local planning rules and the kind of experience you want to offer. Answering this question with confidence is exactly what a master plan is for.
Can the inn be built in phases?
Yes. The master plan defines the construction phases, so you can start with a few units and expand as the business grows.
Are modular or light steel frame cabins suitable for hospitality?
Yes. These systems allow faster, cleaner builds and perform very well thermally when insulation and windows are properly specified, which is essential in the highland cold.
How do I start my inn project?
Talk to our team on WhatsApp or through the contact form. In the first conversation we learn about the land, the business idea and the timeline, and explain the next steps.
