Open plan or private rooms?
This is the age of open-plan offices, large spaces where everyone communicates all the time. They encourage interaction, but many tasks require focus or confidentiality and cannot be done amid conversations and video calls.
By aligning the design with the company's culture and the purpose of each area, we create creative, productive offices without defaulting to “everything open”.

Executive offices and boardrooms
In the executive area we need to think outside the box: dark walls, accent lighting and a visible wine wall create an elegant boardroom, with a round table for closer conversations. Executive rooms need a certain privacy, and we can separate the spaces without visually isolating the team.
The meeting room is where the company receives clients and partners: it needs good acoustics, comfortable chairs and video-conferencing facilities.

Workspaces, training and wellbeing
The design should make the most of windows with a view, use welcoming materials such as wood, provide good lighting and, above all, be good for people.
Natural light, thermal and acoustic comfort, ergonomics and contact with nature directly affect the productivity and health of people who spend their day at the office. Neuroarchitecture works with these variables to design better workplaces.

Is open plan the best option for my office?
It depends on the company. Open plan encourages interaction between teams, but tasks that need focus or confidentiality call for private rooms or quiet areas. The ideal is whatever works for each business's culture and routine.

Yes. In special areas like these, we always look after the client's requirements, which are usually sophistication, security and acoustic privacy.
