Casa Luminatta
Casa Luminatta is a very special project signed by architect Patrícia Chimiti. It was first conceived for people looking for distinctive, cosy architecture with a touch of tradition, to live in or as an investment, but who cannot or do not want to wait the usual time for design and construction.
It was created to offer good architecture that fits in the city or the countryside, quickly, bought directly on an online platform. Clients choose the rooms that make most sense for them and their family and receive the finished house on their plot within four months, even including the furniture.
Technology for people's wellbeing
Technology in architecture and construction cannot be an end in itself: it must serve people, their quality of life and their wellbeing. In Casa Luminatta, technology was the means to that end.
Reaching Luminatta's level of personalisation required combining several technologies, from BIM in the design to artificial intelligence on the platform, which shows in real time how layouts and prices change with each choice of rooms and furniture, revealing what the house will look like and how much it will cost, finished, delivered and installed on the plot.
Technology is also present in how Casa Luminatta is built: state-of-the-art construction, with a modular concept and a light steel frame structure, which offers far better structural quality and thermal and acoustic comfort than traditional construction, among other advantages, and is much faster to build.
Rebuilding Rio Grande do Sul
The Casa Luminatta project was already under way when, in May 2024, Rio Grande do Sul was hit by historic floods. It was a devastating, moving and bitter moment in the history of this great state.
At first, we were all focused on the immediate needs: saving lives and sheltering those affected. But we also looked at the medium and long term, because people who had lost everything or almost everything would need to rebuild their homes and their lives.
We formed a task force to speed up the completion of Casa Luminatta, joining forces to make it possible to deliver high-quality homes in record time, with suppliers exclusively from Rio Grande do Sul, such as Center Steel for the light steel frame structure and Luxor Ambientes Planejados for the built-in furniture, companies known for their quality and integrity. Because that is what matters in the end: standing together for the good of all.
